Comprehensive Substitute Solutions (Sub Solutions for short) began service in 2012 with four Greater Cincinnati school districts. Our mission is to provide cost savings to districts by specializing in the hiring, management, and payroll of school substitutes, including teachers, aides, custodians, food service, and secretaries.

Today, we provide this service for over 30 school districts in Hamilton and Clermont counties, employing over 1500 active substitutes.

Sub Solutions has quickly grown into a valuable partner for Greater Cincinnati school districts looking to save money and increase their substitute fill rates. Each year, our team connects with 1000 new school substitute candidates to conduct their credentialing and hiring. New school substitutes are supported by our staff and have paid training opportunities to ensure they are prepared to step in when a staff member is absent.

As school districts join our service, we transition their current substitutes to our employment. Of course, those substitutes remain loyal to the students and staff with whom they work. But they also enjoy the additional value Sub Solutions brings them, such as Frontline support, training opportunities, and assistance in securing more substitute work including potential long term substitute assignments.

Hamilton County Educational Service Center Human Resources and Financial Services administer all employment and payroll processes and procedures for Comprehensive Substitute Solutions.
