    • Who can be a substitute custodian?
      • Sub Solutions requires substitute custodians to be 18 years of age or older, to have a high school diploma or GED, and 2-3 years custodial background with experience cleaning 
    • What is required to be a substitute custodian?
      • Attendance at In-person Orientation, submission of all Hiring Documents, and successful completion of Required Trainings
  • How much do Substitute custodians get paid?
    • Our partner Districts determine pay rates for their Substitutes   
    • We currently provide substitute custodians to Batavia, Northwest, Princeton, and Wyoming School Districts
  • How long does the hiring process take?
    • Much of the hiring process depends upon a variety of factors including the state of Ohio approving background checks and the seasonal demands of our partner districts.  This makes the hiring process difficult to predict.  It is important for applicants to read instructions thoroughly to ensure a smooth hiring process.  Sub Solutions strive to move applicants through the process quickly and efficiently.

    • Application will be reviewed by Sub Solutions
    • Sub Solutions will contact applicant via email with Next Steps
    • Attend Required In-Person Orientation
      • Candidates who miss or cancel two scheduled orientation sessions will be moved to inactive status in our system. Once a candidate is inactive, they will not be scheduled for another orientation in the same school year.   
    • Complete all hiring forms/trainings after Orientation
    • Welcome Email and Frontline Account Set Up
